It is imperative that you have to connect to the internet to enable IoT functions on your device and for this one of the most commonly used components we use to connect our project to the internet via HTTP is ESP8266. It can also connect to Wi-Fi and act as a Wi-Fi Hotspot if you want to use that functionality.
