NRF51822 is a 2.4GHz Bluetooth 4.0 Development module that supports BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). This Nordic Bluetooth Beacon has the nRF51822 on-board chip which is an ARM Cortex M0 32-bit processor with a multi-protocol RF transceiver. Pin Description

The onboard berg connector is used for communicating with the device. Refer to the below image for the pin diagram. The pinout of the io ports given in the bottom side of the board legend.

The above image is showing the pinout of the NRF51822 BLE sensor. Since it has a microcontroller, the communication protocol can be used I2C, SPI, and UART. For further information about how to configure the respective protocol, kindly refer to the link of the datasheet that is provided at the end of this page.
