Description

Push buttons are normally open tactile switches. They allow us to make connections which in turn can power the circuit, send any signal to intended pin of micro-controllers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi or AVR or even operate the relays. It simply makes the circuit when pushed and breaks the circuit when released, there is no latch-on mechanism present so it won’t remain closed when released. It is one of the most common electronic components we used in our daily life. Even you can find them in your old Nokia button phones inside the keys. Its applications include in calculators, electrical appliances, PCB mounted switches, magnetic locks etc. It can also be used to control the triggering of SCR. It is 2 pin Tactile Micro Switch which means it only has two pins (LEG 1 and LEG 2) which gets closed when button is pressed and if button is not pressed it will remain open.
