The nRF24L01 Wireless module with SMA Antenna can be used in low-cost ultra-long distance applications. The module is based on the nRF24L01 IC from Nordic Semiconductors and operates on the 2.4Ghz ISM band. The Operating Voltage is between 3V to 3.6V and can theoretically communicate to a distance of up to 1000 meters line of sight under proper operating conditions. The module communicates using SPI protocol and can be easily interfaced with controllers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PIC etc..
Because of its low cost and easy to use nature, the module is commonly used in Remote RC/Drone Control, Home Automation and even in Mesh networking projects.

As the module employs SPI communication it can be used with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers boards like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, AVR, NodeMCU etc. Connect MOSI MISO and SCK pins to respective SPI pins of your controller and connect CE and CSN pins to any GPIO pin.
