The TDA2822M is a monolithic Integrated circuit in 8 lead mini dip package where two amplifiers are available in a single chip. It is intended to be used as a dual audio power amplifier that could provide a maximum of 1000mW output power at 8 Ohms impedance load from a 9V supply voltage which is adequate for portable cassette player and radios.
2822M could support voltage range from as low as 1.8V to maximum of 15V making it a wide range of application voltage enabled. The additional features include Low Crossover Distortion and Low Quiescent Current. It can be configured as Bridge or Stereo configuration. Very few components are required if used as stereo headphone power amplifiers.
This Power amplifier also supports a wide range of headphone or speaker impedance such as 4, 8, 16, 32 Ohms. The pinout has two output pins, supply voltage and ground pin as well as positive and negative input pins for two individual op-amps.
