The 24C64 IC is a 64 Kbit serial electrically erasable PROM (EEPROM) organized as eight blocks of 1K, each having 8 bits (8K x 8 bits). It also offers page-write capabilities of up to 32 bytes of data with a data retention of more than 40 years. This I2C complaint IC permits a maximum of 8 devices to share a common 2 wire bus. It operates on voltage range between 2.5V to 5.5V at clock frequency of up to 400 KHz. It is highly optimized for low power, low voltage applications such as data acquisition or personal communication. The 24C64 EPROM IC is an 8 pin IC that can be accessorized with 8 Pin DIP IC Base/Socket.
