This product is one of the most commonly used L-shaped DC gear motor for robotic applications. It is very common for prototyping the robotics projects and see its working and response as they are rugged, low cost, easy to use and easy to control. It does not provide high torque or RPM but it gets the work done. It can also rotate in both the directions hence you can control the direction of rotation of motor by reversing the polarity of the supply. It comes with two screw holes to mount it easily with the chassis of the robot. It is commonly used in line follower Robots and Obstacle Avoider Robot.

Product Description
You can use this motor as a simple DC motor with a microcontroller like Arduino or Raspberry Pi by using a Motor Driver like L293D, L298D. Connect the output wires from the driver to DC terminal 1 and 2 of this motor. Connect the mechanical output port to the robotic arm of wheel you are using and control the motor by using your controller.
